9:6. "ମାତ୍ର ତୁମ୍ଭେ କିମ୍ବା ତୁମ୍ଭର ସନ୍ତାନମାନେ ଯଦି ଆମ୍ଭକୁ ଅନୁସରଣ କରିବା ରେ ବିଫଳ ହୁଅନ୍ତି ଓ ଆମ୍ଭର ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶ ଓ ନିଯମ ମାନିବାକୁ ଯତ୍ନ ନକରନ୍ତି, ଯଦି ତୁମ୍ଭମାନେେ ଅନ୍ୟ ଦବେତାମାନଙ୍କର କି ପ୍ରତିମାର ସବୋକର ଓ ପ୍ରଣାମ କର, ତବେେ ଆମ୍ଭେ ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲର ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭୂମିରୁ ବିତାଡିତ କରିବା, ଯାହା ଆମ୍ଭେ ସମାନଙ୍କେୁ ଦଇେଥିଲୁ ଏବଂ ଆପଣା ନାମ ନିମନ୍ତେ ଯେଉଁ ମନ୍ଦିର ଆମ୍ଭେ ପବିତ୍ର କଲୁ, ତାହା ଆମ୍ଭେ ପ୍ରତ୍ଯାଖ୍ଯାନ କରିବା ଏବଂ ଉଚ୍ଛିନ୍ନ କରିବା ଓ ଏହା ଇଶ୍ରାୟେଲ ସମସ୍ତ ଗୋଷ୍ଠୀ ସମ୍ମୁଖ ରେ ଉପହାସର ଉଦାହରଣ ହବେ।

9:6. "But if you or your sons ever turn away from me, fail to obey the regulations and rules I instructed you to keep, and decide to serve and worship other gods,
